Dates:

The most successful founders in the world share a cheeky little secret.
They stop. Completely. On purpose.
Bill Gates disappears twice a year to a cabin in the Pacific Northwest.
No phone. No meetings. No email.
Just books and silence. He calls it Think Week.
Internet Explorer was born in one.
The Microsoft Tablet PC roadmap in another.
Steve Jobs spent weeks at a time at a Zen monastery completely off the grid. No Apple. No product launches.
Nothing. He said the clarity he found there shaped everything about how he built the company.
Oprah took a 3 day vow of silence at her farm.
No talking. No reading. Just stillness. She called it coming back to herself.

These aren't people with spare time.
They're some of the busiest humans on earth.
They stepped away because of that. Not despite it.
And here's the thing nobody talks about.
72% of founders are experiencing anxiety, burnout or depression right now.
88% say stress is directly hurting their decision making.
65% feel overwhelmed on a regular basis.
27% feel lonely and isolated.
You can be hitting your numbers, closing deals, showing up to every call — and still be quietly falling apart inside.
The hustle culture never warns you about this part.

But here's what I know from working with hundreds of young founders.
The ones who figured it out weren't smarter.
They weren't working harder.
They did two things differently.

The first thing.
What Gates, Jobs and Oprah all figured out independently.
Stepping away deliberately.
Not a holiday. Not a weekend off.
A real, intentional reset that gives your brain the space to think clearly again.
Science backs this up.
Creativity increases by 20% when you remove yourself from your normal environment.
A proper detox is linked to reduced anxiety, sharper focus and better decisions when you return.
The best founders don't wait until they're forced to stop.
They choose to stop before it gets to that point.

The second thing.
Every elite founder talks about this. Most never actually prioritise it.
Your network.
Not followers. Not LinkedIn connections. Not people you met at a conference once.
The people you actually spend time with.
The ones who raise your standards just by being in the room.

The ones who get what you're building without you having to explain yourself.
The ones who make you think bigger just by existing.
Jim Rohn said "you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."
Most founders hear that and nod.
Then go back to spending time with people who have no idea what they're going through.

So what happens when you combine both at the same time?
That's exactly what we do at retreat.
Plus a whole lot more.
If this lands, apply to find out more.

I was challenged to step outside my comfort zone, and in doing so, I discovered an unwaveringgggg connection to myself. Being in a space where you can truly see yourself, and witness others in ways you never usually get to..is profoundly transformative.
As a business owner, it helped me reconnect to who I am beyond my work and approach everything from a founder focused, heart led perspective.
The growth, clarity, and empowerment I experienced rippled into every area of my life and business!!! To anyone considering it: say yes to yourself. DO IT. This retreat doesn’t just meet you where you are....it elevates everything you thought was possible. Thank you, Driven Young.

When you put 30 people in a room that are all seeking to better themselves and are deeply passionate about creating deep authentic connections, you really shouldn't be surprised at what comes out of it - but oh my god I am so blown away just how transformative and fulfilling this retreat experience has been.
I have never seen myself or my life with so much clarity, compassion and connection.
It's like they've taught us how to view through a different lens, and showed us how sometimes you can't see when you need to take your own glasses off and give them a wipe, but others around you can - and when they look at you and truly see you, they won't hesitate for a second to tell you to and wait for you to take off the lenses, clean them, and put them back on.

I literally found my purpose in life during the retreat. Going in to this retreat, my goal was to reconnect with my authentic self.
Going out, I have gained immense focus and clarity which I will carry forward in life.
With the addition of being able to deeply connect with a group of like-minded people, I am so glad I did the DY Bali Retreat.

Retreat was one of the most challenging but fulfilling weeks I’ve had in a long time.
The overwhelming feeling of joy, sadness, pain and accomplishment all at once was an absolute whirlwind and something I’ll always remember fondly. I was pushed to my limits mentally, physically, emotionally but in the absolute best way possible.
Would highly recommend going along to retreat if you wish to better yourself, form deep connection with others and experience the beauty of Bali in a way I haven’t seen before.
